Autumnal Equinox : September 23rd

As much as I love these special solstices and equinoxxxxxxxs, this year the Autumnal equinox occurs at 3:50 a.m. EST on September 23rd. I hope I sleep through it. The sun being exactly over the equator is wildly exciting, but so is my sleep time. Since “equinox” literally means equal night, or when day and night are of equal length, I really don’t think it’s in my best interest to be losing any zzzz’s at this critical juncture. I should be banking them until I arrive safely at the Vernal Equinox. To assist us all with our upcoming Ohi(o)-bernation, we have provided a link to a very tasty, sleep inducing warm Bourbon nightcap. Better than warm milk every long night of the year… until the Vernal Equinox of course when the nights start getting shorter again. Cheers. Of course, technically, Daylight Savings Time messes all this up. Who cares. Enjoy our comforting American Bourbon collection on these long nights. We in Ohio know how to hibernate. And we at Cleveland Whiskey are on your side of the equator, right there in it with you. That’s why it’s fondly referred to as Ohi(o)-bernation. Stay warm in Cleveland Whiskey. All Winter long.
