The Merry Cougar
Our Christmas Bourbon is out and on your local liquor store’s shelves! Yes, we know it’s still fall-time but we believe the holiday spice flavors present so many options to craft a good fall-themed cocktail. And who doesn’t enjoy Fall Cocktails?! We have a few good days left in us, and we recommend celebrating them with The Merry Cougar! A combination of our Christmas Bourbon and a very popular spirit, Southern Comfort. To give it a splash of freshness, we used some Gran Gala Orange Liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and topped it off with some Ginger Beer. This cocktail is perfect to enjoy outside by the fire or on a gameday sitting around the TV at the tailgate. Cheers to Fall Cocktails!
The Merry Cougar
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Christmas Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Southern Comfort
- 1/2 oz Gran Gala
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Dashes Peach Bitters
- Ginger Beer
- Orange Slices
- Mint Sprig
Instructions
- Shake and strain the first five ingredients into a Collins glass packed with ice.
- Top with Ginger Beer.
- Garnish with an orange slice and Mint Sprig and enjoy.
