Rhu'Snip Syrup
Ingredients
1 Medium Parsnip
1-2 Rhubarb Stalks, cleaned and trimmed
1 cup Water
1 cup Light Brown Sugar
Directions
- Slice the parsnip and add slices to large saucepan at medium heat until parsnip is caramelized,
- Deglaze with water
- Slice Rhubarb and add slices to saucepan
- When water begins to simmer, remove from heat and strain through a coffee filter
- Add and mix in 1 cup of light brown sugar
- Once combined, let syrup drop to room temperature
