Rhu’Snip Cocktail Syrup

Rhu'Snip Syrup


1              Medium Parsnip
1-2          Rhubarb Stalks, cleaned and trimmed
1 cup      Water
1 cup      Light Brown Sugar


  1. Slice the parsnip and add slices to large saucepan at medium heat until parsnip is caramelized,
  2. Deglaze with water
  3. Slice Rhubarb and add slices to saucepan
  4. When water begins to simmer, remove from heat and strain through a coffee filter
  5. Add and mix in 1 cup of light brown sugar
  6. Once combined, let syrup drop to room temperature
