Raspberry Elderflower Bourbon Highball
A highball cocktail is as classic as they come. You have your Seven and Sevens, scotch and sodas, gin and tonics, and rum and cokes but you’ve never had one like this! The Raspberry Elderflower Bourbon Highball is in a class all by itself. It’s time to make bourbon your spirit of choice for the summer!
Summer cocktails are where it’s at and we always start with bourbon. In this case, Wheat Penny Bourbon. The muddled raspberries and Wheat Penny are a match made in heaven. Together, they form a well-balanced sweet and sour flavor that is so refreshing. This highball will enliven even the gloomiest of summer days. The Elderflower Liqueur makes it taste uniquely fresh and enhances the fresh and fruity notes on the palate and on the nose. Every highball usually has some carbonation, we went with sparkling water, an ingredient that is low in calories. This really is the perfect summer cocktail!

Cocktail Ingredients:
- 2 oz Wheat Penny Bourbon
- 1 oz Elderflower liqueur
- 2 dashes Cherry bitters
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- Sparkling water
- Raspberries
- Mint sprig (optional)
Cocktail Instructions:
- In a shaker tin take half your raspberries and muddle them with gusto.
- Add bourbon, elderflower liqueur, bitters, lemon juice, simple syrup, and plenty of ice.
- Shake and strain into a tall glass with ice.
- Top with sparkling water.
- Garnish with the rest of the raspberries and a mint sprig.
