Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned
November has arrived and Pumpkin Spice Season keeps chugging along. We crafted a Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned featuring our Wheat Penny 1958® Bourbon and Pumpkin Real Pumpkin Puree Infused Syrup. Their gluten-free syrup is built from pure pumpkin puree with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove added in. You can use it in your morning coffee, drizzled over pumpkin pie, or enjoy it in a cocktail as we did!
We added some cold brew concentrate to go along with our Wheat Penny and the Pumpkin Spice Syrup. The strong taste of the concentrate is mellowed out perfectly by the Pumpkin Spice, Black Walnut Bitters, and Cardamom Bitters. A sprig of rosemary tops it off nicely and this cocktail will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy in no time. It’s so easy to make with just three simple steps.
Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned
Ingredients
- 2 oz Wheat Penny 1958® Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 1/4 oz Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
- 3 drops of Black Walnut Bitters
- 3 drops of Cardamom Bitters
- Lemon twist
- Rosemary
Instructions
- Shake all the ingredients, except for the lemon twist and rosemary, in a shaker with ice.
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and rosemary.
