For your next game of Trivial Pursuit ….. the tiki classic drink, The Suffering Bastard, came from Cairo Egypt. Who knew. Perhaps our version came to us through the Port of Cleveland. We don’t really know from whence it came. We don’t really care. We love our version of the tiki classic, and Cleveland. And our Cleveland Whiskey. And put it all together and you have one ginormous YUM. Get out those little drink umbrellas and yard flamingos – the party is at your house. And then, maybe later, you can break out the board games. Only if you get bored of course. The flamingos should help with that.
Recipe
You will need:
1 oz Cleveland Whiskey Black Reserve
1 oz Gin
1/4 oz Rose’s Lime Juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 oz Ginger Beer
Directions:
- Add Cleveland Whiskey, Gin, Rose’s Lime Syrup and Angostura Bitters to cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously. Strain into rocks glass with ice (or tiki mug).
- Top with Ginger Beer.
- Garnish with lemon wedge, mint leaves, swizzle sticks, an umbrella or two….. have fun with it!
