Magic Mexican Hot Chocolate
This isn’t your regular cup of hot chocolate. This Magic Mexican Hot Chocolate is made from whole milk, Magic Rabbit® Whiskey, and delicious spices! And of course, whipped cream.
It’s the perfect time of year for a special Hot Chocolate, even if you’re in a part of the country that is a litter warmer than the Midwest. It’s cozy, and comfy, and can be enjoyed on the couch sitting by the fire, or out on the patio in cool 65 degrees weather. The way this drink warms your body from the inside out is second to none.
The addition of Magic Rabbit adds a hint of peanut butter and will have your taste buds in a tizzy. Do yourself a favor and whip up a Magic Mexican Hot Chocolate the next time the weather has you down. Be sure to follow the instructions closely, and please, drink responsibly. Cheers!

Magic Mexican Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
- 2 T Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Boiling Water
- 1/4 t Ground Cinnamon
- 3 cups Whole Milk
- 1 t Vanilla Extract
- 10 Dashes of Aztec Chocolate Bitters
- Magic Rabbit® Whiskey
- Whipped Cream
- Cinnamon Sticks
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix cocoa, brown sugar, whole milk, and boiling water.
- Bring back to a boil, reduce heat, and stir for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
- Stir in cinnamon and simmer for five minutes. (Don't boil)
- Whisk in the vanilla extract and chocolate bitters.
- To add the Magic, add 1 1/2 oz of Magic Rabbit Whiskey to the mug then pour in the chocolate mixture.
- Top with whipped cream.
- Use the cinnamon stick to stir.
