Hot Bourbon Cider
The warm cocktail season is back and we are kicking it off with a Hot Bourbon Cider! There’s no better feeling than cozying up under a blanket next to a fire with a delicious glass of spiked cider. You can’t enjoy the fall season without enjoying the juicy, sweet taste of apples. Obviously, we used Apple Cider in this cocktail but we also used Apple Blossom Bitters which adds some baking spice notes on the palate with an apple, cinnamon, and chamomile nose. We also used an apple wedge coated in caramel sauce as the garnish because when apples are involved, so should caramel sauce.
We may be a little biased, but we think that our Christmas Bourbon is the perfect spirit to use for a spiked cider. The holiday spice flavors pair so well with the sweet, crisp taste of the Apple Cider. An important step in crafting this cocktail is to line the sides of your glass with caramel sauce, to add a little extra sweetness! Share this cocktail with your friends and bring it to your Friendsgiving dinner, everyone will love it. Cheers!
