Remember that honey barrel release that had everyone talking? Yeah, we’re doing it again.
The honey barrels are back—but not like you remember them. On March 29th, we’re dropping two never-to-be-repeated single barrel releases: Honey Penny and Black Cherry Rye Hibiscus Honey. $10 gets you in the door for whiskey samples, small bites from Akron Honey, and the first shot at taking home bottles that’ll likely disappear fast.

These single barrels are one-offs that can never be exactly replicated—unique expressions that showcase what happens when we push the boundaries with honey and more. While inspired by our previous honey releases, these bottles represent something entirely new and unrepeatable.
HONEY PENNY This one-time single barrel bourbon (51% corn, 45% wheat, 4% barley) spent nearly two years getting to know a Wheat Penny and Honey Oak barrel. At 85.2 proof, it delivers exceptional smoothness with a honey finish that’ll have you savoring every sip.
BLACK CHERRY RYE HIBISCUS HONEY We went experimental with this one. Our 95% rye whiskey mingled with 8 pounds of hibiscus in a Black Cherry Rye barrel to create an 84.4 proof flavor journey you won’t find anywhere else. The spicy rye backbone meets floral hibiscus notes.
