Cheeky Whiskey & Coke

The first time someone mixed whiskey with Coke was in a 1907 report of an employee of the United States Bureau of Chemistry and Soils, who was introduced to the drink when visiting the South, and said the proprietor called it a “Coca-Cola High Ball.” Since then, it’s become very popular and a great starting point for novice drinkers of bourbon. It’s a drink that can be enjoyed in many different ways with the simplest of ways literally just combining whiskey & coke. We took the classic recipe and took up a few notches, the result is this Cheeky Whiskey & Coke using our Bridge & Main Wheated Bourbon.

The intensely fruity and sweet Peach Schnapps is the perfect addition, you only need a small amount but a little of this goes a long way! It also adds a very distinct peach aroma that pairs perfectly with the notes of cocoa and cinnamon from the Chocolate Bitters. The subtle notes of vanilla from the Amaretto give it a soft mouthfeel and keep a great taste in your mouth after every sip. It’s not a whiskey coke without a Maraschino cherry garnish, shoot, add two if you want, we don’t judge! The next time you want a whiskey coke, craft this Cheeky Whiskey & Coke, you’ll thank us after. Cheers!
