Chai Bourbon Elderberry Toddy
Spring is technically here and April is just around the corner! You know what they say, April showers (or snow flurries) bring May flowers. With that rain comes some enjoyable, cool weather nights where you can sit around the fire and feel as good as ever. Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean we don’t need warm drinks until next winter, they can be enjoyed all year long! It’s time to get the patio furniture out and the bonfire pit ready. Call your friends and cozy around the bonfire with a Chai Bourbon Elderberry Toddy in your hand. Reminisce on the winter months and start planning your summer activities!
We used our Black Cherry Wood Bourbon and called on our new friends over at G.R.A.C.E Elderberry Co. and used their Cinnamon Elderberry Syrup. Hand-made with love right here in Cleveland. Blended with cinnamon and made with elderberries that are proven to help boost the immune system. The best part? It’s made with ALL natural organic ingredients. To add to that delicious cinnamon taste we splashed some of STASH’s Decaf Vanilla Chai Tea to give this cocktail a touch of sweet dessert essence. That slight citrusy note and spicy taste of the cinnamon is so well-balanced and lingers on your palate after every sip. Garnish with a cinnamon stick so you have something to keep the flavors all mixed together, cheers!
Chai Bourbon Elderberry Toddy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Underground Black Cherry Wood Bourbon
- 4 oz Prepared Vanilla Chai Tea
- 1/2 oz Cinnamon Elderberry Syrup
- Cinnamon stick
Instructions
- In a cup made for hot drinks combine bourbon, Cinnamon Elderberry Syrup, and Chai Tea and stir.
- Garnish with Cinnamon stick and enjoy.
