Bourbon Sangria
The Fourth of July is quickly approaching and this Bourbon Sangria is the perfect batch cocktail to make for your party guests. Sangria was brought to us by way of Spain and Portugal with a long and rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages. It was originally aged wine mixed with fruit and spices and has since evolved through time into regional variations. Our version of sangria has a little bit of our Underground Bourbon Whiskey Finished with Black Cherry Wood and of course, it works wonders! The sweet taste and fresh fruit are the perfect combinations to keep you refreshed all day long. Enjoy this alongside any of your favorite summer dishes during the holiday weekend.
A cold glass of wine and fruit juice is just what the doctor ordered on a hot summer day. The sliced fruit that is served with the sangria soaks up the flavors and is delicious to eat once your glass is empty. Plus, you’re getting your daily fruit intake out of the way, so you don’t need to hit the fruit salad bowl, just walk right by it and onto the dessert table you go.
Happy 4th from all of us at Cleveland Whiskey!
