Because of our award-winning finishing process, Cleveland Whiskey can create flavor profiles using classic oak but also woods that could never be used for barrel aging. We’ve won gold and double gold medals for our bourbons, which make them a great starting point for your unique creation.

Whether you’re blending our spicy and smooth Black Reserve bourbon with the slightly bitter and fruity sugar maple wood or taking the cherry and cognac notes of our Black Cherry wood bourbon and marrying it to the light and floral character of our Honey Locust Wood bourbon, our proprietary finishing process allows you to tailor a unique flavor profile for your needs. A representative from the distillery will work with you to develop and document the blend from a technical perspective. You will provide the flavor direction by first tasting each wood finish in the Underground line at cask strength, as well as an oak bourbon base. Then, once you’ve concluded your initial tastings, you will begin to mix and blend the different whiskies together to come up with a unique and genuine flavor expression of your individuality to share with your cherished customers.

Your custom blend will be bottled in an Underground bottle and the label will include your logo (or whatever you want, within reason) and you will also receive an empty barrel to proudly display. Since we will have the precise formula recorded, you can get more whenever you need it!
