Indian Summer Anytime
I’m not suggesting this (subliminally) in any manner, but my first thought after reviewing this ingredient list was (subliminally) why not enjoy all this good stuff (again, subliminally of course) anytime, say, hypothetically, over a short stack or a couple of Belgium waffles? It might have been the maple syrup association, or the Black Reserve and the blueberries that pointed me in that (subliminally) obvious direction, but the mind is a funny thing. Eggs didn’t occur to me, nor did Wheaties, breakfast of champions.
I suddenly want breakfast and this cocktail. Waiter? Garcon? Sweetheart? Anyone? I’m not being subliminal anymore…. Can you hear me? I’m being pretty overt. Drat. I’ll get it myself then. I’m going for the short stack. Heavy on the sweet Bourbon and blueberries. And I won’t be stingy with the maple syrup either because now I’m cranky about being (subliminally) ignored. I think. I’m not positively sure, because it’s subliminal. I think I might also need whipped cream somewhere, no? S’il vous plait and merci.
