Tropical Bourbon Tax Relief

Who doesn’t wish for tax relief? If you’re gonna wish, you might as well go big I figured. I went tropical in my tax relief fantasy, and added craft bourbon. YOLO.
Go big or go home. So bring on the mangoes, bananas, cherries, pineapples, limes and coconuts. And of course, the best American bourbon. I’m filing with Uncle Sam and then sitting out the month of May under a palm tree, toes in the sand, with my Tropical Bourbon Tax Relief. I may even request an extension, or two.

Recipe

You will need:

2 oz              Cleveland Underground Bourbon Finished with Apple Wood 
1/2 oz          Ancho Reyes Chile Poblano Liqueur
2 oz              Pineapple Juice
1 oz              Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz              Coco Re’al Cream of Coconut
1/4               Ripe banana
1 1/2 c          Ice
1 oz              Mango Juice
Amarena Cherries
Ground pumpkin pie spice powder

Directions:

  1. Add the first 7 ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth, and pour into a frozen hurricane glass:
  2. After pouring the blender, place back on the blender base and add 1 oz Mango Juice, blending again and topping the drink with the results.
  3. Garnish with Amarena Cherries and ground pumpkin pie spice powder.
